The Financial Times today announces the launch of FT Strategies, a boutique consulting firm using the FT’s deep experience and expertise in data and technology to help organisations build successful customer-focused businesses. FT Strategies will draw on the firsthand, operational experience of the the data scientists, product managers and digital experts who transformed the FT into a subscription-based digital news service.
21 October 2019: The Financial Times is today launching Trade Secrets, a newsletter and content hub staffed by a team of award-winning journalists that will explore the most important issues driving globalisation.
In July, the FT announced that it had appointed law firm RPC to conduct an independent review into allegations that FT investigative reporters had engaged in collusion with investors in German fintech company Wirecard this year.
After an extensive review, RPC has found that the evidence does not support any claims of collusion between the FT reporters and investors trading in Wirecard shares.
"I am satisfied that there is no foundation to support the allegations levelled against our reporters by Wirecard. We stand by our journalism," said Lionel Barber, editor of the Financial Times.
